Room for fresh ideas: Start-up Space at Küchenwohntrends

Cooperative projects with universities, promotion of young talent and a “Start-up Space” – Küchenwohntrends (Kitchen Living Trends) supports the kitchen and furnishing sector with relevant future-oriented topic.

“Küchenwohntrends”, the trade fair for the kitchen and furnishing sector – held for the ninth time by Trendfairs GmbH (Munich) from 5 to 6 May 2020, is focusing on the promotion of young talent and innovation. These topics will be communicated in an area that has been specially created for the purpose, the “Start-up Space", as well as during panel discussions and presentations on the podium and via information stands set up by important universities.

Küchenwohntrends aims to set a positive tone by responding in a multi-layered and imaginative way: the guiding theme of promoting young talent and innovation is relevant throughout the industry and involves IT affinity, e-commerce, enthusiasm for furniture as a cultural asset, knowledge of social developments and design trends as well as constructional know-how.

In other words, topics predestined for universities such as the Rosenheim Technical University of Applied Sciences with its furnishing sector connection. The university is expected to be present at the Zenith exhibition site in Munich – with its own trade fair stand plus ambitious presentations on research and future-oriented topics on the “podium”. Trade fair organiser Trendfairs aims to address young Küchenwohntrends visitors who are interested in an academic education as well as show seasoned company decision-makers options for recruiting and qualifying young talent.

Young start-ups, creative types, designers and developers who are already working in the areas of furnishing, living, cooking and sleeping will for the first time be offered their own exhibition space at Küchenwohntrends 2020. The new “Start-up Space” is specially reserved for presentations by dynamic founders with their young companies and fresh ideas. This hotspot is limited to ten stands – each with an exhibition area of 6 m² and particularly favourable conditions – and is available for exceptional products or intelligent services. The application deadline is 17 February 2020.
