Küchenwohntrends 2020 – the specialist trade fair for the kitchen trade and the furnishing industry

The 9th edition of “Küchenwohntrends”, the specialist trade fair for the furnishings industry, will be held by event organiser trendfairs GmbH (Munich) on 5th and 6th May 2020 and will remain true to its concept: a premium format reflecting all aspects of the sector. This pure trade fair will take place in the contrast-rich Zenith exhibition site and will feature many future-oriented ideas, ranging from fascinating podium events to projects based on teaching and research.

Küchenwohntrends fosters not only the discovery of new content, but also the continuity of concepts and formats. It is popular with exhibitors and visitors and remains a top event exclusively for the kitchen and furnishings industry, for architects and interior designers, contractors and property developers. In other words: the 9th edition of Küchenwohntrends will once again be a pure and simple trade fair that stands out thanks to the fresh ideas it showcases for B2B businesses in an exciting atmosphere.

This will be only the second time that it has been held in the former rail repair works in the Schwabing-Freimann quarter of Munich – the “Zenith Hall” and the “Coal Bunker”, known far and wide as top-class venues. The event organiser, trendfairs, will inspire trade fair guests with the current theme which remains unchanged: “A fusion of kitchens, dining and living spaces, creating a unique furnishing experience characterised by rich variety”.

In 2020, snacks, drinks and entry will also once again be free of charge. In addition to the well-known and extremely well-received “podium events”, the Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences will also deliver presentations on fascinating future-oriented topics.

The product groups of kitchens, home furnishings, sinks, taps and accessories, electrical household appliances, soft furnishings and beds, tables, chairs and benches, lighting and lifestyle will be showcased at “Küchenwohntrends 2020”, where IT, associations, service providers and institutions will also be represented. A mix of fascinating exhibitors is expected to attend, all representing the industry's appeal in all its aspects, whether they are market leaders and brands or newcomers and innovators – and standing for inventiveness and the courage to be extraordinary.

The market leaders and brands will include: Blanco (sinks and taps), the software company Carat, Haier (household appliances), Naber (accessories), chair makers Topstar, Nobilia (kitchen furnishings), Franke (sinks and taps), Speedmaster – specialist in individual furniture products, Strasser (stone worktops) and Systemceram (ceramics). The following will also be present: Berbel (extractor hoods), Compusoft (software), water experts Hansgrohe, the long-established company Miele (household appliances), water specialist Quooker and Swiss company V-Zug AG (household appliances).

A visit to the “newcomers”, with all of their fresh ideas, will be interesting and appealing for visitors: for example, the Munich-based Agrilution crew with their “Plantcube”, Avitana with its plasma filter systems, Clage with its energy-saving dispensers for drinks and hot water, the ingenious “Good Cookers” from Cuciniale, the air improvers from Ozonos, the young Austrian carpenters from Dreikant, the “stone rockers” from MCR with their unique kitchens, and the cool Berlin furniture makers from Noodles & Noodles.

Trade visitors will have their attention turned to something extraordinary thanks to innovators such as Allmilmö with unique new surfaces, Berghoff with exciting new cookware, the Upper Franconian creative upholstery brand Bullfrog, the metal kitchen specialist Büchele, South Tyrolean bedroom furniture from Gaderform, Dein-Konfiguratior with intelligent software solutions, Elica with its supertruck, the Swiss tap brand MGS, the kitchen furniture expert Rempp, Beckermann and Sachsenküchen, as well as the software provider SHD and the design brand Smeg. Months before the exhibition takes place, this preview of the exhibitor list already confirms how interesting the biennial trade event will be – not to mention the successful networking, communication and business opportunities.
